Let’s just say Batman isn’t look so good anymore. Will Ben or won’t he, make who seemingly rejected the role lol, and these rumors funnleingthr narrative and making the company look weak.

Reeve's noir style is what Batman needs.

If it is apart of the dceu it’ll go back to their status quo admitting they can’t compete with the MCU. Even though they kind of already said it. Weak company.

This will be epic, I think.

Another solo batman isn’t ground breaking it’s retreading familiar ground. Sad news if that comes to pass.

In Reeves I trust.

Not me he really ****ed up the apes trilogy. Long boring parts. I expect a boring Batman.

Loved the Apes trilogy.

Ended poorly. Lack of action and marketed poorly. Deceptive. Good luck with boring Batman and if it is a stand-alone that’ll be terrible.

Just getting started. Quality.

So you don’t even care about the dceu. You just want more Batman stand alones.

The new PotA trilogy was good all around imo, glad it wasn't just end-to-end action and they took the time to flesh out the characters and story.

The third film dropped the ball to me and they needed more action because the film dragged on. Not very much rewatchability. Detective marketing also portrayed something different than the film. I cared less when it ended.

Found the action to be adequate for something like this, as these are not really action movies, they're more sci-fi drama.

Enjoyed the end myself, left us with the knowledge that in a few generations humans will have devolved completely and the apes will take over the planet as rulers. Sending us back to the original 1968 film, the "Nova" shout-out was a nice touch too.

There is definitely a lot of heart in the movies and they're consistently rated pretty high. The apes movie of last year, was one of the better films.

I don't understand why DC has such a hard time with their movies, especially any that feature Batman. Virtually any Batman story that's animated absolutely kicks ass, so why don't they just commission a script for another animated movie like normal but then when it's done shoot the damn thing as a live action movie. They don't need any twists on his origin or to explain his villains because everybody and their dog already knows the basics of such things, they should just stay fairly true to the source material, assume that the viewers are already fans, and begin the movie where the story starts getting interesting.

I don't think they're going to re-tool Batman's origin. It's supposed to be a noir type of film, though. I think that would be pretty awesome.

Yes, there are good things in the apes films the ending was lackluster and I don’t expect Wall to Wall action but it ended poorly imo. It doesn’t leave the audience clamoring for more.

For dc’s sake they need a hit. They are dying for one WW can’t carry the dceu by herself.

Apes was pure awesome, IMO.
