And I believe he's gonna want an Oscar for this too?

There's still a part of me that thinks that was intentional. A few times in the movie, he looks slower and older than you'd expect Batman to. Even when he's talking to Diana in one of the scenes, iirc it's touched on that he can't do this forever.

I think this is because Snyder wanted to go full Frank Miller with Batman (a mistake in and of itself). He just didn't realise that you can't have THAT Batman in a Justice League setting. Unless he thought he'd found a way around it.

That or he was leading up to Batman Beyond, but I doubt that.

You can bring up the inconsistency with the warehouse fight in BvS, but if Snyder's shown anything, it's that consistency in storytelling is not a strength of his.

There is no way it was intentional. At least not in terms of storytelling. When Bruce is talking to Aquaman, one second he's much fitter then another his face balloons up by quite a bit because of the reshoots. That is just jarring and totally not professional from Ben Affleck.

Shnepp has said that Matt Reeves and Ben will be announcing the Batman next month at Comic-Con. I guess Ben is staying on.

Deadline says it their article regarding Geoff Johns...

Who knows.

Until they announce a date for another Batman film, it really doesnt matter.

My feeling though, Bens heart isnt in it, so best to move on.

Plus recasting Batman would be the first step towards a soft reboot, which they desperately need.

I'm guessing Matt will replace him.

Does it even matter? It’s all about WW in the dceu.

I wonder who'll replace him.

Hopefully it’s someone who cares and is passions about the role. Too many actors don’t really give a shit about Batman. It’s rather embarrassing tbh.

I'm rooting for Jake the bank.

Will it even matter? Can your dceu be saved? I hope so for my own sadistic desires for your inferior brand.

Love Reeves, though. This should be epic.
