I want to do away with these rule. At first I thought it would be a good way to make it a leveled playing field. But this was under the old mindset that this competition would be roughly equivalent to the 2 previous ones held in the battlezone. It isnt, and the end result is going to be more powerful than what I anticipated, which makes rules unnecessary, and to an extant conflicting.

Well, since we're not "amping" powers, total destructive power output shouldn't actually increase much (or at all) from whoever your most destructive draft is.

Frankly speaking, I don't see many (possibly any) characters here who possess a "city-levelling" attack let alone "planet busting"

None of these guys/gals should be busting more than a city block or two (with limited exceptions) in any single attack; ESPECIALLY if they are not being amped.

Second would be to retroactively undo some of the bans. I feel ashamed, that I allowed too many characters to be banned. I do think that leaving it up for vote is the proper to method in banning characters for this competition. But putting up a poll for it was a mistake. Too many unknowns votes, and in the end did away with everyone. I did not count on the fact that our polls here on this forum, are not public, and hides who voted for who.

I feel that anyone that voted for 10 or more is a stronger reflection of who belongs, and does not belong in this tournament as opposed to 4.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and again I leave it up to you guys. If in favor please leave some feedback or suggestions.

I'm for both changes, but the decision needs to be made before the second draft.

I am reversing the ban on the following characters:

Rules

Power Level & Format: 2-character amalgam. Low Herald each.

CIS & PIS is OFF!: We are drafting 2 characters, and its abilities. You the participant take ownership of how said characters & abilities will be realized in combat.

Character Knowledge: Contestants are fully aware the characters drafted, including its history, and weaknesses.
Also the Amalgam can use powers as good as the originals.

Amping Rules: Disallowed. Materials that aid a power (i.e. Jeffries/adamantium) are allowed. Power amping is not (i.e. The Ray + Kara)

Note: Amping is a state of empowerment fueled by some source source, that increases a characters physical prowess or ability.

Tech Creation & Non-Autonomous Constructs/Summons: Low Herald limit.

No you can not summon an entire realm or dimension.

You are in control of the character, but you are also confined to what that character has accomplished historically.

You can't borrow feats from someone else, even if your similar characters.

Example:
X-Man can not Borrow Feats Cable.
G.L. Hal can not Borrow Feats from G.L. John.

Prep: You are given time to raise shields. Otherwise NO prep time.

Creating gear can only take place in the heat of battle, after the bell has rung.

TP: Low Herald

Speed: Up to lightspeed.

Banned Powers: Reality Warp, Time Manip., Duplication, Power Copying, Autonomous Constructs (tech or magic), Memory Retention

Note: Space Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, and the Speed Force is allowed provided that the drafted characters are low herald and below.

Functional Immortals are Banned: Functional immortals such as Lobo, Mr. Immortal, Deadpool are disallowed or voided.

Standard Gear Rule Character comes in with what he is historically known for caring.

Non standard gear must be created you NOT grab it from your lab, and equip yourself with it.

BFR BFR is banned.

Self BFR is only good for phasing.

Good for 1 second.

Those are the loose ends I wanted to tie up.

I will accommodate those with extra time, if you want to rethink your strat and drafts.

No. But I'm almost positive I know what his next pick is going to be and his overall strategy.

It's the one I almost drafted myself (I know I've been holding up things on my own end)

You do, however, have to pick between Extremis or anything after that, since Tony deleted his brain and then let go of the Extremis in his system.
