And capitalism IS to blame for your problems 👆

Low taxes hurts you.

I would not call your country a leader of anything. Until you are then let's compare the U.S. to Norway. Do you lead in any significanxe in any area of the world?

Raising taxes hurt the poor. Because the rich find loopholes.

Leader in many things. All of which relate to the quality of our life and all of which would require you to read.

Only when they are allowed to have loopholes though.

So getting back to the point your claim was wrong. Do tell about your great job you don't have though. Cause we clearly need to copy this great example you think you represent.

I've seen what your "quality of life" affords lol, it's a joke. Also, you're saying that your high taxes are somehow helping you? That's hysterical. My 150k a year would give me a nice mansion here. My 150k a year would get me a nice 2 bedroom apt with 55% tax rates. OOOO free healthcare! The only thing you have to offer is your beautiful fjords and your norse mythology.

"Here" isn't the same all across America.

The day the word "here" becomes "generalizing" 😂

In San Francisco the median home price is now 1million, in Dayton Ohio it's 81k, as examples.

So it really depends what you consider "luxury living", cos some people wouldn't want a mansion in the backwoods, no matter how cheap.

edit: It's actually higher than a million now in SF

It's pretty high in South FL as well.

$150k can qualify you for a million dollar home so there is that.

Here is why I have no problem with the wealthy paying higher taxes: because like it or not in this country money buys more then physical items. Rich people flat out get away with shit ordinary people can't, and when they do get caught a lot of times they are not punished as severely as an ordinary citizen. It's also usually the wealthier people who know how to weasel out of paying anything via tax loopholes, etc.

Of course not all wealthy people behave this way, but it's not a rare thing to see people with money getting away with crap nobody else can. Just look at the 16 yr. old who got away with killing several people while driving drunk by arguing his parents had not taught him the difference between right and wrong.

The lack of insight in this thread 👆

A guy working at the supermarket here in Oslo has a better life than someone working 2 jobs in America.

Keep winning capitalists.

Edit:

How's that unemployment coming along?

How's that education coming along?

How about that national debt?

Very true, the thing about capitalism is wealth creators are a misnomer, they get rich off other peoples hard work and the only trickle down is the rich pissing on those less fortunate.

Who gives them jobs then? Is it a wealthy persons fault for giving people a job? Should all companies stop employing?

That's a gross misunderstanding of capitalism.

I have no problem with people getting rich to be honest, but..not at the expense of the country. At least, in certain situations..people can go too far. Since for instance a person might say...a guy who got rich selling candy bars is selling something unhealthy so he got rich at the expense of the country. That isn't what I mean. What I mean are the people who employ illegal labor because they are greedy and know they can get away with paying shit wages while making more. Or the people who move their factories to China or something because it's cheaper labor there, etc.

No, it really isn't. Most rich people inherit there wealth they don't actually do anything to achieve it, apart from being born.

Do you have a chart or are you quoting Gordon Gekko from Wall Street?

We are living in the post democratic age, politicians are merely mouth pieces of the rich.

capitalism is simply a racket, a legitimised racket for the ruling class.

Funny the elite rich class like the Clintons are the ruling class.
