Iranian Agreement goes through

I feel like a broken record, you keep doing your dance.

Iran isn't letting US inspect them, they can delay UN inspections and will most likely just be self inspecting.

1. It's the IAEA that will be carrying out the inspections.

2. Inspections to all current known and declared nuclear sites are instant access

3. The area in which Iran can delay is requests to inspect sites which are currently not nuclear development sites

4. The maximum time they can stall is 28 days which isn't anywhere near enough time to shut down and clean up any clandestine nuclear programme. If they fail to comply sanctions are reinstated.

5. They lose all their high level uranium enrichment capability required for making weapons grade material.

6. They lose 2/3 of their centrifuges and only get to keep first generation ones only capable of producing low level enriched reactor grade material.

7. I'm sure attitudes will change drastically amongst many republican representatives once US companies start making billions from deals done when the Iran economy is opened up. commodities, tech and services stand to make a huge amount once in.

Fast food in particular could stand to make a killing in Iran, where Iranians are already making knockoffs of American brands. E.g. "Mash Donalds"

"Pizza Hat" is my favorite.

Which is why I'm somewhat expecting a reworded but largely same deal sometime between 2016-2020 if a Republican takes office, if this deal falls through.

I'm not so sure. Making deals with enemies isn't the Republican way, even if it makes sense to come to an agreement. You can see a glimpse of the attitude of many conservatives on this forum--they tend to believe that you can solve any problem with force, even though the last few wars America has fought prove that that's just not the case.

Not the modern Republican way at least.

Remember the old Vulcan proverb, "Only Nixon could go to China."

And for his evil empire talk, Reagan still talked with the USSR.

I miss that Republican party- I mean, I'm still not fans of them, but there was a phrase that used to be tossed around, 'the loyal opposition.' Back then, it could be used to describe either party when they weren't in office.

This deal is shit, Omega must have been the architect.

I see you're using your tried and tested method.

An argument is put forward that shits all over your blatant lies. You ignore the thread for a couple of days then come back and restate your basic, shitty, unsubstantiated opinion and hope no one notices you didn't have a counter argument and then claim that you 'smashed the libs'

Too bad you cant have fun on a Saturday.

Go eat at a buffet, fatty.

Been on the drugs again, Walt?

Goddamn liberals

Hahaha

Here's an idea, instead of accepting a bad deal, give Iran an ultimatum:

Let us inspect you for nukes or else we will destroy you.

Eh? No.

So instead of having Iran helping the West against ISIS you prefer to bully them and fight both ISIS and Iran at the same time? Why is everyone browsing over the fact Iran gets to fight ISIS? That's the whole point of the deal 😐

LOL. Don't kid yourself. Both Iran and ISIS are already our enemies anyway. Remember all of those weapons and equipment we gave to Iran to supposedly "help them fight ISIS"? Remember what happened to them? That's right. The Iranians literally gave all of them to ISIS when they tucked tail and ran away from fighting them. Any military equipment we send to them will just end up in ISIS' hands anyway. We might as well be sending all of it directly to ISIS. Iran is not our friends. Any country that burns American flags and chants "Death to America" never has been and never will be.

If Iran has nothing to hide then it shouldn't bother them to let us inspect. IF they do have something to hide then I'd much rather we take care of them before they have a nuclear arsenal built up.

It really is difficult to know where to begin with everything that's factually wrong with this.

Jokes are funny. I'm not sure what you're doing.

Awe bless. Look at you trying to be serious.

Why so serious?

Which is kind of the point of making them fight each other.

Say what you want, but Iran is currently the better force fighting ISIS right now. I don't think they alone are a solution to the ISIS problem, but they will pose a more serious opposition than current allies in the region.

The lack of trust Iran has towards the States is justified because you've been historical enemies. It's not realistic for them to open their doors just like that, and people negotiating the deal were painfully aware of those limitations.
