Why do you say this? That idiot Knife used to start out a conversation this way when he was incredibly defensive and had to pretend that he wasn't. It doesn't inspire confidence.

As for Iran, I've flipped a corner. I like the ideal because now the onus is on Iran to mess up and when they do, we look like the good guy.

Awe bless. Look at you trying to be serious.

Why so serious?

Looks like Obama has sufficient support to override any congressional challenge to the deal.

While I think this is a positive development for the Middle East and our diplomatic credibility, I hate that this is what our political system has come to--that we have two camps so polarized that it's no longer a matter of dialogue and it's now a matter of getting enough votes that you can ignore the opposition.

The senator gave her reasoning for supporting the deal:

“Some have suggested we reject this deal and impose unilateral sanctions to force Iran back to the table. But maintaining or stepping up sanctions will only work if the sanction coalition holds together,” Ms. Mikulski, the longest serving female senator in history, said in a statement.

“It’s unclear if the European Union, Russia, China, India and others would continue sanctions if Congress rejects this deal. At best, sanctions would be porous, or limited to unilateral sanctions by the U.S.”

This works towards Obama's advantage because he would look weak if he had to use his executive powers.

Well I'm pretty sure he already has to, doesn't he? Isn't the whole point of the vote gathering so that congress can't override his presidential veto if congress passes a resolution rejecting the agreement?

Yup, that's the whole point but anytime it's done, it makes the president look weak, republican or democrat.

This deal is shit, why can't you just agree instead of trying to talk through it.

Whipping cream on a pile of dog crap is still a stinky pile of crap.

There isn't one good thing about this deal.

Not one good thing. Even something like getting a multinational coalition to come together and agree on it?

Weak coalition of which the one of the two major countries sell arms to Iran and don't have Israeli or Ameican interests at the bottom of their list.

Anyone with half a brain knows this deal is not enforceable.

Remember this?

China, France, Russia, the UK, the US and Germany

Oh yes when I see that list I see weak helpless third world countries...

Like I said. Russia sells them Arms,
Nothing you said refutes my point.

You can't speak against the lies his administration has sold us before.

Wake the hell up dude.

What makes France strong btw? They had that train gunman on their watch list for what 3 years? And never picked him up, it came to US military members on vacation to stop him.

What's your point exactly. You said there is nothing good about this deal. I pointed out getting an international coalition together to back up this deal seems pretty good.

You tried to dismiss it by saying it was a weak group.

Which is false since you have the world's two superpowers and France, Russia, Germany, and the UK are all high powered first world countries as well.

That is not a weak group.

You then tried to dismiss it by saying Russia sales Iran arms? Okay so what? That's one out six and it doesn't mean that Russia wouldn't help back up the deal should Iran turn on it. In fact Russia does more dealings with the other countries then they do with Iran so it would be silly for them to pick Iran over the rest of us.

Which of those countries will be inspecting or enforcing?

Oh wait, none..

One funny thing I heard the other day.

"Why is Obama ok with Iran having Nuclear Power Plants but not the U.S?"

You're right he IAEA will be handling the inspections. You know the UN group whose job it is to do this type of thing...

The UN😂

So if not the UN, who has group designed to do these types of inspections thoroughly, who would you want to do it?

Also why would have a problem with the UN doing it?

Can we take bets on this?

Because as of now, Iran is laughing at this deal.

They already said inspectors will not be allowed in, what do you have to say to this? More chest beating?
