Actually the films never go into depth with the droids as much. However after 13 years of warfare the Jedi would defintly become more adapt to facing droidekas, while the droidekas and other droids would become more technologically advanced. Common sense.

Well that's because you don't know much about TCW and don't understand what being a Jedi council master means. Also sidious was going all out against the masters while he was toying around with savage and maul.

The Jedi use bombs against droids in TCW episodes A war on two fronts, Front runners, and I believe also, The soft War. I believe they are on YouTube but you would get better quality with Netflix. It's season 5 episodes 2,3,and 4.
