http://i.imgur.com/K42c23i.jpgAlso, Super-Perfect Cell was a solar system-buster--this was confirmed in a bio outside of his comment in the manga. Lastly, we don't judge the lethality of blasts in Dragon Ball by the amount of collateral damage they cause. Never have.
Why are you acting like Naruto bios have any weight in this discussion..?
Where Dragon Ball is concerned, bios from canon sourcebooks are perfectly admissible. They only get thrown out if they directly contradict happenings from the manga itself.
Because we don't take statement without proof.
I'll concede the collateral damage blast.
It also contradicts itself when Buu at his strongest was a mere planet buster.
Even Beerus who's stronger than Buu sits only at planet buster.
Do they have the capacity to go beyond planet buster with one blast, yes they can. But until they shows it, there words are just baseless statement.

Not just a statement. It's a canon bio.
When did Buu try to exceed planet busting? Do I have to name every Herald in Marvel and DC that hasn't displayed planet busting capabilities yet but people are still tanking them in that tier? Hello!!!
You see, this is proof that you don't know what you are talking about. Beerus destroyed suns with a casual blast.
You're trying too hard.

WTF. It was outright said that Cell is a solar system buster. Don't discredit things just because you dislike the characters. Calm down and focus on American comics.
Cell wasn't scared of 16 bomb. Come on man.
First of all, the attack did go off, how do you think Gohan killed Cell genius.
2nd of all, statement without proof to back it up are baseless.
3rd, I ****ing love DB, that was my 2nd introduction to Japanese animation as a kid. Cell is actually my favorite dbz villain. So I don't know where you're getting me not liking the character crap you're spewing. I just don't like its idiots followers, a big fan of the series it's fine, but fanboys are bad.
4th,telling someone to focus on American comics because when half the time you don't even know what you're talking about. ****ing priceless.

With that in mind, Whis only 'said' that Beerus destroyed multiple stars. Whis only 'said' that Beerus could destroy the entire solar system just by throwing a tantrum. Is there any reason to assume Whis was lying? Obviously not. Therefore, his statements should be regarded as fact until proven otherwise.
As for Boo: planet-busting was obviously not his cap--he just preferred the planet-by-planet method of destruction.
As for Cell: the fact that a bio corroborates his statement irrefutably tells us that he was not just emptily boasting--he really could have destroyed the solar system with that final Kamehameha.
Furthermore, characters like 1st form Freeza were capable of destroying planets effortlessly. Should I assume that characters many orders of magnitude more powerful than Freeza(like Androids 16-18, for example) were incapable of doing so, just because they never had a reason to? Of course not.
There are many, many other examples, but hopefully you understand my point.

Sigh...I will respond to your post Juggerman but I want to know...how powerful is this blast? Mountain buster, moon Buster, planet, etc, etc...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SFw413DnhcQ
When you answer that, please let me know how you came up with your answer.
I ask this question again SquallX, please answer it and stop avoiding my question.
My favorite part about this is that people argued that Goku could win or that he'd give a good fight prior to the God upgrade.
Now he gets like 10 times more powerful at least and he still can't win. He gets to a point where he can battle a guy somewhat evenly who can finger tap planets in half and he's still incapable.
What would it actually take for Goku to win? Or is it just the case where people really don't want him to no matter what?

Carver, shut up! No one's avoiding you're queston.
If ill make you fell better, i have no doubt in my mind that was a planet buster.
If anyone here read my responses, i've never once doubted that the DBZ guys can't bust a planet.
I argue about is the fact that can blow up Solar Systems with one blast.

i feel like this question tells alot about the the dbz fanboys. they dont think and use logic lol.... if you destroy anything within a universe you have destroyed part of the universe. how big that part is is the question that needs to be asked.

Why do you consider that a planet buster? What made you come to this conclusion?

Carver is the only person who made that comment. When he did, the rest of us explained "the how" to him... So please keep your bashing to yourself, lol. 🙂

is it really bashing if you point out the lack of logic many fanboys use.
its really jus an observation that shows you cant argue with them thats all theyre arguing with different rules

Yeah, but generalized derogation can really only harm a case. When you throw out your sense of civility (even seemingly), you effectively project yourself in an imbalanced and partial manner, and whatever point your trying to make, no matter how agreeable or understandable, can now only be half correct. For example, I understand and agree that there exists a certain brand DBZ fans (or, rather, fans in general) that are about as irrational and unreasonable as they come, but divisive labeling in reference to no one in particular serves to match that attitude and behavior, not defeat it. So, yeah, it technically is bashing.
Also, what anime is that (featured in your set)?

The superman they used in Death Battle was "at his best" which is stupid wording for best feats are a go im guessing. That's the Superman that beats him still, if we go by the forum rules of averaging the character, yes, it's fair to say Gokus average is above his and would win.

Power scaling? That's a fan boy stating speculation as a excuse not to show featsBut hey that's just view.
👆
Yep, powerscaling, according to it it takes not more than 300 human kis to bust a moon. Doesn't work.
Feats? You won't find them in DB so they need to take statements at face value and misinterprete everything. Like Broly being a Galaxy buster......
They make things pretty clear in DBZ with the SSJ multipliers. Cant really argue against them.
The new movies and DBS have already provided plenty of feats. Beerus destroyed multiple suns off panel. He also destroyed a planet with the tap of his finger. Not to mention we have some great combat speed feats as well. (gohan in a weakened base form moving so fast that the enemies were frozen in time)
