Teams have basic knowledge. Teams will know the motivation of the other and as a result, the will not hold back (not necessarily blood lusted from the start.)

With Despero here, an entire Justice League wrecker with immense tp, I feel like Surfer is holding his team together in a losing fight.

He was only a so called team wrecker because of his tp. He was physically weaker than Superman.

If Sinestro is over high herald then team one wins.. If all teams are even and are all high herald then team 2 wins

Sinestro is host to parallax, and casually stomped mongul with 5% power left in his ring.

Is that Nu-52 despero? I thought I remembered him physically wrecking them as well. If he is weaker than Supes then BM should be able to put him down physically If surfer and cable hold off the tp

Nu Sinestro is the most current and "normal" sinestro, he is host to the Parallax entity, and controls it fully.

His power has increased to such a degree that while fighting Mongul he specifically says "I wont even need to bring out parallax", and he only had a small amount of ring power left.

Sinestro then goes on to control the yellow energy in all of Mongul's rings, as in Sinestro has absolute mastery over the yellow spectrum of power.

The op didn't specify, so we use current incarnations. Currently sinestrollax has control of parallax.

It certaintly can't be canon as Despero is a beast that takes on the best of the High Heralds in groups.

If Silver Surfer removes his passive nature , he will a force to be recon with.

Surfer isn't always passive and he won't be passive against this group.

Unless Despero and Sinestro are above High Herald then they are not beating team 2. Op already said that everyone in this fight are in normal form, so yea team 2 got this this.

Nobody on team 1 is beating Silver Surfer.

Oh wait I just noticed its Cyborg Superman and not Reg.Superman in this fight.. So I'm not sure how powerful Cyborg Superman is to be honest.
