I didn't see you do it though and it could've saved us both a lot of time and bitching if you had just went out and said that right away instead of calling me a piece of shit and a liar for 5 pages.

TI, the articles you're posting have nothing to do with the media's claim that Trump didn't give millions, or at least only gave after the investigation into the claims.
He did give millions and now you are just re telling lies. And you failed to mention they had to vet all the groups they gave money too and they initially gave out 2.4 million to the groups that had been vetted already and had good ratings. Who the fck are you to be talking about veterans anyways?

The stories coming out are saying Trump gave, but AFTER the investigations started into his claims.
Let me break it down in points for you
-Trump claims he's gave millions to Veterans
-Reporters/investigators start looking into the claim
-Trump actually gives the millions he previously claimed (or part of)
That doesn't look like someone playing damage-control after the fact?

Lies
"Prior to Tuesday, only about $4 million of the fund had been accounted for as paid to veterans charities and service organizations through reporting by various news organizations, chiefly the Post."

You are a downright despicable liar who does not even fact check the shit you post, tard.

Um, you realize that story supports the media's claim of damage control, at least in part:
At least $1.9 million of the donations to veterans groups that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump reported on Tuesday came in last week, after Trump began responding to intense media scrutiny of his earlier claims about raising in excess of $6 million for veterans. Trump said on Tuesday that his efforts raised a total of $5.6 million.-snip
The candidate gave a $1 million check to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation on May 24, as questions from the Washington Post and other news outlets about Trump's prior claims regarding these donations accelerated.-snip
It also supports that Trump played damage-control after the fact, which is what the media is claiming.
Can you show where I made this claim about Trump and vets? Seems like you're lying again.
Trump made the "6 million in donations" claim and the "gave 1 million personally" back in January, TI. Investigators started poking around, found it wasn't accurate; then Trump started giving, his personal million was donated on 5/24, months after he claimed he had given it.
Let me break it down for you since you are having a problem understand what is going on.
Trump raised money, at the time he had a total pledge of 6 million.
Some people and money did not come through initially, so the total ended up 5.6. Not his fault.
He initially gave out 2.4 million to groups that had been vetted, and was waiting to disperse the rest of the money when they had been.
He gave $1 million to the MCLEA but was originally planning to break that up to three different groups, and was waiting on vetting to come through, it never did. SO then the media started jumping all over him for this, and he was tired of waiting so he gave the whole million to the MCLEA on May 24th.
He never claimed he gave the millions, he did give it. To a total of 5.6 million.
He did give a million dollars back in January to the fundraiser, of his own money, quit lying and trying to cover it up.
You have no other point here except trying to play damaged control for the media getting blasted.
I find it down right despicable you are trying to place yourself between veterans and Trump giving money to them.
You're still missing the point the media is making, Trump claimed the money was there already, when it wasn't.
He claimed he already gave one million personally, when that donation wasn't given until after the investigations started, several months later.
So yeah, was solid of Trump to do a fundraiser for veterans, I praise him for trying. But why make untrue boast? Why not just come out and tell the truth that less was raised and leave it at that.
You can also lay of the "you hate the troops" nonsense, it makes you look petty.
He did tell the truth.
"NPR reached out to all 41 of the groups Trump listed as receiving donations. Of those, 31 responded. One group, the Navy SEAL Foundation, said it does not disclose details of its donations. The other 30 confirmed the amounts Trump reported Tuesday, accounting for $4.27 million of the $5.6 million total."
More then Half of the money was there..now quit your fcking lying, Im totally sick of it, and how dare you try and play the victim for veterans.

Again, that NPR story you posted partially supports the WP's claim that part of the money to make the "6mil" (5.6) true came after the fact, one million of that personally from Trump months later on 5/24. Can you not see that?
