That's a bit of a misinterpretation of what he said. His claim is that climate change contributes to an increase of terrorism. The logic behind it is that climate change will put more people in desperate situations making them more susceptible to radical messages and promises of better lives, making recruitment for terrorist groups easier

Well, if you don't believe that Global Warming is happening or think that it's a hoax then you obviously will not think that it is a big threat.
But some of the predicted results are very devastating for a lot of people, likely a lot more than ISIS can ever do. That doesn't mean that ISIS is not a threat, of course.

You're absolutely correct. But it's impossible to achieve that when you have an aggressive stump who leaves "and I don't want to hear anything to the contrary" type of remarks at the end of his posts. That's the opposite of trying to have a conversation, that's just ranting.
Climate change due to human activity over the last 150ish years is actually a thing unless you think the world science community by and large is in some massive lie.
