Explaining the joke: Realclearpolitics simply averages various recent polls. They don't even weigh the numbers based on past accuracy like 538 does.

Thoooough, speaking of FiveThirtyEight, they just made a discussion on how both country-wide poll ratings and head-to-head matchups aren't too important, since it's decided by the state polls.

The state poll matchups are much more informative.

I actually agree about the backlash you'd see if people made a cartoon about Obama and his daughter as monkeys.

On the other hand Ted Cruz whines about the cartoon being made and then goes and makes one himself. I'm just waiting for the piss poor excuses for this to roll in. I'm guessing in the lead will be "well he didn't depict any kids in his cartoon".

So of course the person violently threatened Trump over the fact Trump thinks some Muslims are violent. Yeah..it doesn't make any f*cking sense to me either.
