In a couple of weeks the movie based on the true story of what happened in Benghazi will come out at theaters. It's called "13 Hours" and they've been talking about it a lot on FOX recently. They even had the heroes of the tragedy on several shows over last several days.

FiveThirtyEight article: Hillary may underperform in early states/Sanders may exceed expectations, noting similar times in the past that's happened.

We can only hope

FiveThirtyEight discusses what the Republican Establishment is doing/not doing, and a piece at the Federalist how Trump is inside their OODA loop.

natesilver: Clare, that comment about Trump being an irrational actor reminds me of this excellent piece I read by Dan McLaughlin a few weeks ago. He argues that Trump isn’t necessarily irrational but definitely presents a very different set of tactics and strategies than what his opponents are used to. And that’s creating a lot of problems for them — almost making them disoriented.

clare.malone: That’s fair—not irrational, just working from a totally different playbook that politicos aren’t used to.

Ted Cruz planning ahead to take the South

Now that Cruz has solidified his #2 position, Trump did something pretty clever, he pulled his anti-Cruz ace out of his sleeve; brought up Cruz's Canadian birth using the angle of the issues that could have for the party:

“Republicans are going to have to ask themselves the question: ‘Do we want a candidate who could be tied up in court for two years?’ That’d be a big problem,” Trump said when asked about the topic. “It’d be a very precarious one for Republicans, because he’d be running and the courts may take a long time to make a decision. You don’t want to be running and have that kind of thing over your head.” -Trump

Sanders said something during his last Democratic debate that will win him the presidency for sure. Its going to bring all the college kids out to vote.

He said he wants to legalize marijuana.

I don't think attacking Cruz on the Canadian birth thing is necessarily going to work since everyone already knew about it and I don't think it much of a question that American parents is enough to qualify.

Even though the argument against him is much stronger than the argument against Obama, he's, well, not black and not a democrat, so the people who most care about this kind of thing, don't care that he was born in another country.

They didn't care that McCain was born in Panama...

Do you really think everyone, or even a large number of voters, knew about it?

He is also not white, which is something people who most care about foreign birth also care about.

Trump has been going out of his way to dog whistle to these voters that Cruz is not white, not American, and not Evangelical.

LOL. He's not going to win the democratic nomination let alone the Presidency. Americans don't want a damn socialist President. This isn't Canada or some European country. Hillary's not winning (the Presidency) either. It'll be a Republican (probably Trump). You can count on that. 👆

Ugh... I really hate this 15 minute time limit we have to edit posts. Made a small grammatical mistake above when I typed "Hillary's".

On an American Military base, which constitutes as being American soil, I believe this was the reasoning used to have McCain meet the "natural-born citizen" clause.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada doesn't qualify as US soil.

Dumb hillbilly 😛

Anyways I say a democrat wins the presidency.

Care to make a small bet on it ?

No money or anything , maybe something for gags here at Kmc .

Navy SEALs make me so proud to be an American. Especially the one talked about in article below who said what he said to Hilldog's face:

I cared.

First he was born in Central America. Then he was dumb enough him to get shot down.

And he killed like 123 people on his aircraft carrier and his daddy covered it up.

**** McCain👆

‘Diamond’ and ‘Silk’ Say Donald Trump is ‘What We Need Running This Country, Baby’

It's looking as if Christie might be the best chance after Rubio for the establishment. He's actually climbing in the polls and it seems as if people have either forgotten about bridgegate or decided to let it slide because it isn't as interesting as other scandals.

If Kasich and Bush dropped out, he'd probably climb to double digits, and while I doubt he'd win, he could be in a good position to drop out and endorse Rubio at an opportune time to put Rubio over the likes of Trump and Cruz.

All the candidates should be advocating for this.
