Ok Q, how is Hilary getting around this one?

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/feb/13/15-percent-latest-hillary-clinton-emails-marked-cl/

"More than 15 percent of the latest batch of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails released Saturday contain classified information, with three of the messages being labeled “secret” — continuing to add to the questions surrounding her email use.

One of the messages is an extensive missive from David Satterfield, a top U.S. diplomat to Egypt, who told top officials in both the White House and State Department about negotiations in the Sinai. The entire contents of the messages are now deemed “secret,” though there is no indication they were marked as such at the time. The message was forwarded to Mrs. Clinton by top aide Jacob Sullivan.

In addition to the three “secret” messages, more than 80 others were marked “confidential” — the lower level of secrecy — and also heavily redacted."

What do you think about this one?

It seems like more of the same really.

How so?

Well, more emails that at the time weren't marked as classified are considered classified by some department now.

Lulz, of course they weren't marked. Any emails that originated from Hillary's email server won't be marked classified since she isn't on a govt server.

It's all a joke really, hillary has been careful in her selection of verbage. Being the SoS means that she will communicate sensitive data and with over 30k work emails its inevitable that she had sensitive data sent.

Surely email that was sent to her as classified would be marked accordingly, no?

tbh, I don't really know the specifics of the law, I'm really mostly waiting to see what the investigations determine. Like she says that her having that server was acceptable under the rules, and no one really seems to contradict this. So, what would it mean if classified email was sent to her on that allowed server, would that actually be an offence?

There is a govt network established specifically for secure information.

That said, people can send information and that isn't labeled classified at the time and later it can be reviewed and upgraded in security.

In the thread regarding the FBI wants to indict hillary I have a few links that explains it in an easy to read format. One is simply wiki on the subject that explains the types of information and how its classified, the other article is from another individual that had top secret clearance and explains how that information flows and how its created.

What's important to note is the language hillary is using to play around with the term classified. Classified (or higher) could have originated from her server via emails she sent and being the SoS its her job to understand that and mark it accordingly.

Here is a an article from reuters that would make things easier to digest in regards to information Hillary had:

http://blogs.reuters.com/great-debate/2015/08/03/what-everyone-with-a-top-secret-security-clearance-knows-or-should-know/

With the last release and the top secret information realize this. That is the highest classification of information our govt uses. There is no way what so ever that said information was not sensitive prior to that label.

Fully explains all the levels of classification and the type of information in each.

The audience was pathetic.

As someone on reddit put it -

moderator: <facts>
Republican audience: booooooooooooooo

I couldn't stand it, and the people who let that audience in should be fired.

Well it definitely seemed like Trump was correct in this case when he said the audience were RNC establishment backers. They seemed to only really cheer for the establishment candidates.
