It's also extremely insulting to people (like me) who have the same beliefs as people who are Baptists. It's even more stupid than when you claimed Catholics aren't Christians either. I guess it's a good thing that nobody needs your approval of what a Christian is, eh Blue? 👆Did you appoint yourself the official judge of who is and isn't Christian? Maybe you should take a good look at yourself and judge whether you really are because it seems to me you aren't when you go around telling people they aren't Christian because you don't like their religious denomination. 👆
Oh, and your "source" in the link is obviously biased just like you are.
In no particular order, mainly because the computer I am at is unable to highlight sections for ordered copy, quote, and paste:
-- You should agree with me once you've researched my statements and found them true, not out of habit, not because you like me, and not because it parallels your own thinking.
-- How stupid a statement sounds has little to do with how true it is. It was thought ludicrous for centuries that the sun, that tiny little ball of flame, was something, in actuality, several times LARGER than the entire Earth, and that the Earth went around IT, not the reverse.
Stupid, but true.
Kindly read the article I linked you to and tell me exactly WHAT is "stupid" about what the author asserts. Right now I have no reason not to simply dismiss the claim as an emotional knee-jerk reaction on your part. Tell me what you specifically and logically disagree with.
-- Regarding your feeling insulted
(1) You've given a sufficient number of insults to me before now throughout various threads that this is of little concern to me. Why did YOU not care before now of insulting me?
(2) The truth is GOING to be an insult to some, if not many. The Bible itself suggests this in various ways and in various places.
Have you never read the following?
What exactly do or did you think of when reading such?
Matthew 10:34-36 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
or
Matthew 7:21-23King James Version (KJV)
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
