2) I answered that (I think others did too) already. There could be more than "he wanted to cause a bomb scare cos Muslim!" reasons as to why he tried to pass off a shame as an "invention". i don't know what the law is regarding this.. but i'm not alleviating the cop of blame nor condemning them because i don't know what the law is. if there's a specific law he broke and the school pressed charges then the cop has no choice but to carry out the arrest... has nothing to do with whether he's black or white.

if the cop trumped up some charges to satisfy the school then the cop is equally to blame.. the bottom line is i don't think this is the kind of thing people should be getting arrested for. and before you tout the double standard rhetoric take a look in the mirror and ask yourself if your own positions aren't just as influenced by ideological/political bias. you know, like jesus said to do.

The kid was let go, the point is he was arrested by a black cop, no one blamed the cop, since he was black, they immediately blamed the school. If the cop had been white they would have forgone blaming the school and blamed the white cop. A police officer has total discretion to arrest or not arrest based on his judgement. If it was not a bomb, why would the cop arrest the kid? Its his damn fault and he gets the pass!
