Bane vs. depowered Thor

In the first movie when Odin removes Thor's powers, he lands in Gotham instead of New Mexico. Selina Kyle hits Thor accidentally with her motorcyle and they end up dating....

Anyway, fast forward to the fight.

Depowered Thor gets into pure h2h fight with Bane. They fight in the sewer hideout where Batman first fights Bane. They know nothing about each other. Thor is still an arrogant SOB but has already gotten into multiple brawls with Bane's men so he knows where his strength is at.

Who wins?

Honestly how many times have we done this bro?

I know we did Batman vs. Thor. Don't recall one with Bane.

There's no such thing as an actual Depowered Thor.

T minus 10 before people start claiming that Bane punched through a marble or solid concrete column, rather than a decorative one. and thus has superhuman strength.

This has been done at least 3 times. It ends the same way, and blood bath for the forum and no clear winner for the OP.

Ok whatever. Just take him as he was in the first Thor movie when he fought in that SHIELD base.

As a Thor fan, gonna say Bane wins like 6-7 out of ten. Thors best hand to hand feats are actually in a deleted scene from TDW.

Going by his durability and strength feats, Thor should be a good fight for Bane in that department. Got hit by a car and was fine. Threw a man across a room while on his back and being restrained by like 8 other guys. And he's actually a good deal faster than Bruce, as well as a damn good h2h fighter.

His combo of speed, strength, skill, and battle tactics(he'll use his environment and figure out pretty fast that Bane's achilles heel is his mask) that he should win more than lose.

Huh?

Baleman sucked at h2h and according to Coulson the guys Thor fought were elite shield agents. So if they were even near Mei's level that puts Thor well above Bane.

Bane casually lifted an armoured two hundred pound man with a single hand and walked with him, therefore he has superhuman strength.

Oh okay, so we can just look at the choreography as an accurate reflection of who is and isn't a skilled fighter, regardless of the actual portrayal? All right then.

Achilles, Darth Maul, and basically all Game of Thrones characters are are now bad fighters. Good to know that we can throw out how a character is portrayed in favor of how the choreography looks. 👆

Most of the people you just listed have much better fight scenes than Baleman

No, they really don't.

Darth Maul in Phantom Menace has by far the worst fight scenes of those named, if the criteria we are judging them by is "actual skill at combat".

Yes, they do.

Wtf are you talking about?

They all had better fight choreography than Bane.

Fight scenes were pretty good in BB though, at least while he wasn't in his suit.

Better in the sense that they were more fun to watch.

Achilles is still a ****ing awful swordsman who would be embarrassed by someone who actually knows how to wield a sword (not really though because he at least has moderately superhuman physical attributes)

And with Darth Maul there is no comparison. There is not a person posting in this thread who couldn't wield a blade better than Maul or the two clowns he fought. At least Bane and Batman were actually trying to hit each other, lol.
