What he appears to mean is that; they don't use their swords like he believes "real life" masters would, thus their fights are crap regardless of how good the scenes looked.

What a huge load of crap. I practice hema, which is a legit sword martial art. And while very few sword fights in movies are realistic, Achilles and especially DM showcase very good skill. Skill that you can't just duplicate without a good amount of practice.

To be fair, his main goal is to prove Baleman and thus Bane are highly skilled, so he obviously isn't thinking very clearly.

He is basically pulling a Stealthranger and juggerman, IE ignore what the movies actually show because he doesn't like it.
