Time doesn't run backwards. Abbas saying that Israel has not been complying with agreements BEFORE Netanyahu said that he is now prepared to talk without conditions (a change from his previous stance) is not the same as refusal by the Palestinians to this offer.

It says right in the article that Abbas said something BEFORE Netanyahu. Refusals can only come AFTER offers. So you are being disingenous.

Requiring the demilitarisation of Palestine is, in fact, a pre-condition.

He said he would, but also in the next sentence stated his preconditions. Mixed message, really.

I said Israel is fighting against Palestine having a voice in the UN. Not that they are completely succeeding.
