Exceptionally poor reasoning based on their liberal narratives rather than facts. Had they asked a gun expert, he/she would have quickly dispelled all of the incorrect points in their thesis and recommended they implement an armed guard."
Do people think this comment is correct?
My issue with this comment is that it assumes a liberal does not or can not have gun knowledge or that a gun expert can not have liberal views on the subject of gun ownership or gun safety.
I was raised around guns all my life. I've fired gun, been given guns, taught the rules of responsible gun ownership by my father who is an army vet.
But I also realize that simply having an armed guard does not negate the possibility of these events happenings.
Also gun facts often don't support what extreme conservative gun owners want it to... that more guns equals more safety. We often find the opposite to be true. England, Australia, states with higher gun controls laws tend to have lower crime rates involving firearms.
This comment to me screams of a politically biased person trying to push off their agenda as expertise.
