This is why I kinda laughed at the reaper whining about "coming back from death isn't the rules of the universe." Which might have been a valid argument if the guy who created the universe wasn't the one who brought her back lol.

Also I find it funny that by this point Jody has been in Sam and Dean's lives longer that Mary both in series and seasonal screen time.

Mary seems to be kind of a shitty person. Dean was absolutely right when he called her out.

It also kinda seemed like when she asked the reaper if she would kill her..if the reaper had said "yes" then Mary would have said okay kill me.

Well Billy's "whining" is a bit understandable when the Winchesters have died at least 2 times each. But the impending shit-storm of finding out it was the big G that brought Mary back should've been motivation enough.

Well...yeah but in her defense she has been dead for decades and the Sam and Dean she thinks she knows are still in heaven.

To get around that I expected Billy to tell all the hunters that Mary wanted to died even though God brought her back had Mary said yes.

Yes but the Winchesters have literally helped save not only the world, but pretty much all of existence. Billy needs to suck it up. She'd be getting hate banged by Leviathans or by Lucifer right now if it wasn't for Sam and Dean.

Yes, but her children could die any day. They fight monsters for a living. They are good, but far from invincible. Hell the first few days Mary spent with them involved them getting into a situation where they'd be dead if Mary wasn't there.

On top of that, even random hunters have been able to track them down and shotgun them to death. I would think she'd try to suck it up and be with her kids. Hell a random ghost could end up getting lucky and killing them.

Speaking of Lucifer, I can't figure out why sending him to the bottom of the ocean stalled him for long, why wouldn't he just teleport back?

Well, Rowena wrecked his vessel first (accelerated the decomposition), before BFRing him. Maybe teleporting back in an already flimsy vessel is too risky.

Remember before Castiel showed up in his vessel how his true form and voice was causing all that destruction? I wonder why we've never seen anything like that again with an angel. When you destroy their vessel wouldn't they just revert to their true incomprehensible form? I'm thinking specifically of Raphael here.

The way I understood it, when you destroyed just the vessel while they still occupied it, they temporarily get shunted back to Heaven. Like the time Michael got roasted in Holy Fire, disappeared, but reappeared shortly after. But given Lucifer's status, not sure that would work quite the same way. I am just speculating though. The writers have crapped on their own established canon more than once over the years.

Oh yeah Mary's half-hearted attempts at trying to bond with her sons is very much half-hearted. Then again this is probably all surreal as she's actually been out of touch with reality for about 3 decades.

Trying to connect with Sam is also pretty awkward considering he really only has an idea of who Mary. Said idea is constructed mostly from Dean, time-travel shenanigans, and that one trip to heaven they made.

Concerning Lucifer, maybe Amara did an even bigger number on his power than initially expected. But I'm still curious as to what it is he wants. After talking it out with God, what other motivation could he have other than doing things for the lulz.

LOL@ the scene with Sam and Dean in the car and Sam on the head phones. This is the stuff that keeps people coming back to this show.

Also holy shit the kids summon Lucifer and one see's his friend get straight up MURDERED with psychic powers before his eyes and he's not bothered. Then he has the balls to..question this person and say "You're not Lucifer" despite seeing him appear out of thin air, use super powers, and spontaneously heal in front of him.

Come on dude, even if you didn't think he is Lucifer..why would you question him?

Also wait Vince Vincente's band mate shows up like..he didn't see his eyes glow red and see him show superhuman strength a few weeks earlier? Did that guy get his mindwiped or what?

Well, at least no more Rick Springfield. 😆

Damn though, has a chick carve his name into her chest and can't even heal her after. What a dick.

Though I'm confused about the black guy..I thought he was a demon?

Finally an angel uses common sense when it comes to who it should possess.

I also liked the "Mr. Catch" character.

And Castiel was actually doing so well not to act like an idiot through most of the episode (even using some of his more unusual powers, for a change), only to get caught out by one of the oldest and dumbest tricks in the book, at the end. I had to lol at the bit where Crowley did his "nice" thing for Rowena, though.

what unusual power are you referring to?

Well, he kind of Jedi Mind-tricked that secret service agent. He rarely does anything other than try to bumrush people nowadays.

Why were they saying they got Lucifer? All they did was kick him out of his vessel.

Oh and..why didn't Castiel just teleport out of that hotel room with Sam, Dean, and that chick? Why would you leave them to stay in there alone just to get arrested? I'm very confused. Did they truly think they could con their way out of this?

Though I'm betting Mr. Catch will be the one who saves them from that armored car.

Also, does anyone remember when Angels had the ability to find..anyone they wanted? The only way to hide was for hundreds of symbols to be branded onto the bones of Sam and Dean. So..chick with the evil baby shouldn't be able to get very far.

I thought it was more than that. That weird egg thing pushed him out of the host, and what Rowena did stuck him back in the Cage. But I guess we will see when it continues.

Also remember, the teleport/time-travel thing got broken during the Fall. Even when Castiel was restored as a Seraph, we saw that his wings were still broken. Only Lucifer's wings appear to still be fully intact (and presumably Michael's, though point is moot, seeing as he apparently went off the deep end), seeing as he was in the Cage when that happened. At around 1:30, onwards:

But Crowley should have been able to help the brothers at the end. He can teleport extremely quickly, actually.

And yeah, not sure where she plans on running too. Considering how apeshit Angel Radio went, pretty much all of them noticed what was happening with the spawn of Satan. Unless Lucifer Jr. can somehow cloak the mother.

But Castiel teleports Lucifers baby momma in the episode when they first grab her.

That was Crowley. Remember, she was sitting by the pool, talking on the phone, when he pops up behind her, puts his hand on her shoulder, and teleports away. He still said "Bollocks" when Sam points out that he is the only one that can get close to her.

Oh I remember it now.

Side note: I almost felt sympathy for Lucifer. God did kind of dick him over and has a habit of using the guy and then setting him aside.

Did God just think Lucifer would retire to LA and open a piano bar?

lol I see what you did there.

But yeah, Chuck is a bit of a dick. He's openly admitted that he ignores prayers, and generally can't be bothered at all anymore. And I agree. Lucifer was right. He basically just used him, and then buggered off without even checking whether he was okay, after what Amara did to him.

But yeah, Angels got gimped of their teleporting/time-travel during the Fall, presumably to make them more realistic opposition for the brothers, during the season where they were the bad guys. If the angels had their time-travel/teleport powers during that season, no plot armour in the world would have saved Sam and Dean.
