A news site isn't accurate just because it agrees with you, and a lot of the sites you use are a heck of a lot less accurate than, say, Fox.
Heck, a lot are less accurate than the Daily Mail, the right-wing British paper known for making stuff up.
Also, one nice thing about real stories is most of the time, many sites will pick up on them. They may put their own interpretations, but they'll report it. This is why I like to find multiple sources on major stories, btw.
But if someone says "THIS GIGANTIC THING IS HAPPENING!", and everyone else doesn't think it worth reporting, regardless of axis? Then the only story there is probably 'this site is willing to make up gigantic things.'
