Seriously though, I've already said pretty much all I'm going to say about how people keep crying how the poor Native Americans "have been wronged" in a recent thread and I really don't care to repeat all of that shit over again. I sure as Hell don't have to justify to people whom I consider lower than dog s*** (libs) why I respect the person who discovered our nation. That's ****ing ridiculous. They seem to hate anyone that had anything to do with the birth of the United States. Because a group signed enough petitions about 70 years ago, and the government didn't do its research before deciding it was a good idea.

I checked other sources too. Some list him as a Spanish explorer others as an Italian. He was originally from Italy but he did exploration missions for the Spanish. That's why some people think of him as a spanish explorer.
