Maybe because they were driven off their lands which their ancestors colonized(yes, they grew crops, they weren't just squatters) thousands of years before and the approach to "solving the Indian problem" was something similar to genocide. Yeah?

edit: In regards to 9/11, there's not many Americans who have the "we deserved it" viewpoint, typically it's "bastard terrorist attacked us and killed innocents for no reason!". Sure, you can find some, but it's hardly the prominent view.

i framed your statement the way i did because that's the way it's meant when conservatives do it on Fox news, etc. Whenever the issue of injustice against minorities is talked about, they bring up the "they do it to themselves" argument as a way to deflect from the actual issue at hand.

I already stated my intent in bringing it up. In fact I didn't bring Indians up at all, I just made a post since the subject had already been brought up. I did not come bring this up out of the blue.
