Kek @ that too BTW. Kun isn't far above them - if even above them. 😬 And if we want to powerscale, Revan can be.
Except Kun was still more powerful than DS!Kyp whom Luke stated could be even worse than Vader, this being despite the fact Kyp had tried a focal point previously. His powers were feeble compared to that of Kun.
Exar Kun is stated to be more powerful than Karness Muur whom was solidly defeating Vong!Krayt in Force exchanges.
Exar Kun has been compared to Palpatine by Luke and has been stated as a greater master of knowledge than Vader was.
Key word is "could be." Also, physical and spirit bodies don't always translate.
No, he wasn't. He put them in the same sentence while looking back on the greatest villains he ever had to face.
Obviously those will be the greatest since they were the only beings of note Skywalker fought besides Vader himself.
Luke thinks back at Vader not as the dark man in the mask but as a redeemed man and his father. Just read late-NJO books.
Also, ILS and I discovered Galaxy Guide 14 was a fake source today. So no, anything in that thread about that book is not true.
Revan > Kun.
Your logic is that since Kun is more powerful than beings who might be more powerful than Vader, he's now "far above" Vader. 😬
For one, ABC logic is good an all, but doing so when gauging spirits to physical bodies back to spirits and what not is pretty much asking for errors.
That being said, I recall Kun stating that, as a spirit, he was able to practice and master his abilities over the centuries, so I doubt there's a large disparity if any.
Utterly terrible logic. BTW, I demand a public concession on the council feat.

An echo of fear rang through Luke's mind, but he forced himself to sound calm and brave. "You can't harm my body, Kun. You can't touch anything physical. I've tried it myself."
"Ah, but I know other ways to fight," Kun's spirit said. "And I have had endless millennia to practice. Rest assured, Skywalker, I will destroy you."
