No Exar Kun was able to master interacting with the environment, that was a genuine plot twist in the book. We have completely contradictory statements that say Kun was slumbering until Luke arrived.

All of his techniqes come from the hordes of knowledge he obtained from Ossus, the Dark Holocron and Naga Sadow's "unmatched" treasury of Sith shit.

Exar Kun used Force Corruption to corrupt Kyp to the Dark Side and elevated him to his 'full might'. Full might Luke compared to Vader at minimum. When Kyp tries to obtain the Suncrusher he isn't able to, even with a temple focal point to call on. Then Kyp asks for Kun's help and suddenly with Kun's 'black-ice power' he feels like he is a part of the entire planetary system.

Kun is still not able to use all of his powers by that point either, he would need a nucleus of followers to restore his lost reserves of energy and live again.

To be honest I am not even looking to put Kun over Caedus or Krayt, just guaging reactions. I would settle for parity in their tier.
