Yeah, the soulsword can, supposedly, cut through anything magical and remove enchantments form people/objects.
Not sure if it's ever met something like Mjolnir/Ebony Blade before, but I remember it being pretty useful against mystical types in the old eXiles comics.
Wasn't always great againt non-magic things though, luckily he has Stormbreaker for those.

If that's all it has than Occult's disk of the 7 offers as much. It spell breaks, undoes magic but has the added advantage of being able to to absorb and redirect "natural" energy as well as magic. That doesnt make a character a higher tier.
I mean lets face the fact the ebony Blade has absorbed the attacks of Zeus and sent them back at him. It doesn't make Dane Whitmore skyfather level. It simply means he has a means of limited defenses/counters against characters normally out of his weight class.
Honestly I considered using Black Knight as a pick (hes a fav of mine from Marvel almost as much as Occult from Dc, likely for the same reasons). It was only the versatility of Occult's disk over the blade that swayed me. Without a powerful energy based enemy attacking you, all the Blade does is cut. the disk can still create shields and generate blasts, and allow low level spells and such.

Looking over the rules, she seems to have been nerfed for this tournament. No Limbo, no demons, Time manip, etc.. It's like mirror master with no access to his dimension or Jackie w/o his darklings or Larfleeze w/o his corps.
I don't wanna really go into what She's really capable of since she's in an upcoming tourney. That wouldn't be fair to Smurph but in a no holds barred setting she could totally beat someone like BRB. She has a pretty good track record vs beings of even higher power. Just look at her rouges gallery.
