Though, on the Bleach side, I do not think rank and file soul reapers have shown anything superhuman at all. Or won any fights, against anything. And the Hercule-equivalent of Bleach (the spiritualist guy) is more impressive.

It's not embarrassing to be really weak when the people you're being compared to can bust planets with little to no effort.
Sakura punched the strongest character in the HST, by miles, on the head and broke her horn. Once all the dead powerhouses were gone Sakura basically remanded in the top 5 strongest Naruto characters by virtue of her healing factor and strength being enough to KO most anyone. Hell she frankly performed better against Shin than Naruto did.
Hercule is actually scarred of fighting two peak humans(charitable) at once. Videl, without flight, was far above Hercule.
None of this is to say Hercule is weak but you are so severely overestimating him that it is actually perplexing. You are also certainly selling Sakura short.

In case one needs a reminder, the word "much" means a lot. Or we can look at showings. Videl made a guy's head spin around in while Hercule is scared of fighting two martial artists at the same time. Videl would train rigorously while Hercule never bothered. Hercule has one impressive showing against the dudes who attacked Buu but Videl would do that stuff regularly long before Gohan got involved and never seems worse for wear.

Uh, while *maybe* you can make an argument of him vs Genin Sakura (though as stated, I'd bet on Genin Sakura), by the time skip their strength isn't even in the same league. His failed brick-break vs her punch to uncover underground Kakashi show that difference.

I'm assuming Majin must be the biggest power-up in DBZ aside from Super Saiyan.
