500's a big number for a movie costing less than 200.

If a film triples its budget it pretty certain to have made profit.

Who said BVS had to gross 800 to break even? Can you please provide a link?

Well, I found this link.

With a production cost of at least $250 million and added global marketing costs easily topping $150 million, the movie would have to gross $800 million to recoup its investment, if it were reliant just on box office (though the film will also benefit from substantial TV, merchandising and other receipts). Studio insiders consider the $800 million figure inflated.

The 800 figure is inflated as was stated by the insiders that work at the studio. Even if that were true, you have to look at the other ways the property will bring in the cash. Currently, BVS is #1 on Amazon in terms of DVD sales. It will probably bring in at least 300 million globally for that.

^ Why you brining other ways for a film to earn money when it comes to BvS, but just talking about Box Office when it comes to Warcraft?

Like I said I don't really buy either one. I think when a film triples its budget just in theatres it a pretty safe bet that it's made a reasonable profit already.

Something like TASM2 did not Triple its budget. So that might have just broke even or something, considering what happened next.

Who cares about domestic when it has made more than $370 million in foreign markets.

Golgo seems to not understand that studios look at the foreign box office as a way to gauge their product... this isn't making money here in the states but is kicking ass overseas.. there will most likely be a sequel but they won't announce it just yet... prime example is Pacific Rim, in which China saved it and now a sequel has been greenlighted.

Golgo is biased and isn't consistent. It's rather obvious he's a joke.

he might run and hide if Suicide Squad doesn't live up to all the hype...

Best part is when he said he preferred marvel films. No one believes him but he disrespected DC badly by uttering such a thing.

Because we all know Batman does well in merchandise. How well does warcraft do?

And the industry stated warcraft needed to do 500, I think. You wouldn't trust them?

😂 it had one of the biggest drops for a movie. 82 percent. 😂

Golgo ignores the overall numbers and continues to lie. Quit obsessing over the numbers you nerdy pile of biased doo Doo.

3rd highest second weekend drop of all time. 😂

So ? Made more than any other video game adaption. Your obsession with box office dollars kind of exposes you as a pos not as a fan.

-Insults another for "obsessing" over box office
-Hooted and raved over China's input to the box office

I want it to make enough to warrant a sequel. I really enjoyed Gul'dan the guy who'd ass **** your boy Gandalf that you refused to address in the vs thread. Robbie and his obsession with me continues. 😉
