Again, not expecting much in terms of story or even acting(like LoTR), just hope it's good fantasy fun. Jones has impressed me twice so far (Moon, Source Code).

I'm still on the fence about the CGI. It feels like I am watching a game cutscene, as opposed to footage from a live-action, feature-length film.

Yeah, the juxtaposition with how game-like the CGI (namely characters) looks next to the actors does put me off as well, but that's not a deal breaker for me.

Still optimistic. Love fantasy more than most though.

Kinda Meh on this. The whole "Epic Field of CGI Battle" is overdone. Its lost a lot of its appeal at lest for me.

Been there and seen it.

Still very disappointed with this. The Orcs look terrible, their proportions are way too cartoonish to look believable. I wish they had made them all look like the female half-Orc. But who knows, maybe the film will manage to transcend the crappy visuals though I’ve got my doubts.

Edit: And what the hell is up with that music? Are they trying to make this film bomb? Christ.
