Those showings against teams are nothing new. Wolverine has them. Spider-Man has them. Batman. Karnak, even. It's the ninja rule all over again. More opponents you face, the better you're going to perform...

If danny gets actually uses his chi attacks i dont see how logan stays in the fight.

He can take hits like that.

Even Elektra doesn't suck in that department - it took multiple hits from Skrullossus to knock her out.

They all DIE as is deserving of street scum of their ilk!

Big difference between taking a hit that sends you flying, taking a hit when you have nowhere to go (Like your back to the street or a wall), and taking a flurry (As Panther did), though.

Think the difference between Hulk slapping Logan away, and what he did to him in World War Hulk.

You know, I was thinking about it, actually. No idea.

Claws vs. Cyke's optic blast in Schism was a cool scene. Probably gives Pr nightmares, though... similar to the nightmares the Hulk wading through the blast (twice) gives him, but not as bad 😛

i'd think if he punched the tip of logan's claw it wouldn't necessarily be a good thing for him..... not sure if logan could cut off his hand in fist form. shrug

What is Logan's record against Shang-Chi and Iron Fist? And no fights that last one panel or anything. A clear cut winner.

Wolverine beat IF in a sparring match in New Avengers. One on one.
No claws, no IF. Just hth.

There was also that IF vs. X-men fight; Danny tossed X-Men around, eventually got beaten by them, though.

Shang got beaten by BC Wolverine who wasn't even using his claws till the very end. Oh, and Shang started with a cheapshot.

Another "fight" they had was in Wolverine: First Class. Logan was looking for some tips on how to control himself against Sabretooth, whose mindgames were pissing him off. Nothing more than sparrings against Shang, in which Wolverine had a purely defensive role. Granted, Chi looked much better here than against BC Logan.

The sparring match also happened before the fight, chronologically speaking. But since the fight was written first, of course Shang had no idea who Logan was. 🙂

Fwiw, both Shang and Danny have pretty decent showings against Gorgon.

Plus, Danny managed to beat Mr. X's mind reading trick a lot quicker then Logan did. Although, Mr. X is kind of a jobber against anyone else BUT Logan.

elektra herself has done at least reasonably well against logan, not to mention daredevil who himself once stalemated rand...

It can be easily explained that he couldn't recognize Logan, since his appearance drastically changed because of the further mutation after adamantium was removed.

But honestly, Van Lente could've avoided all the confusion just by using some different martial arts master in First Class. Like Master Izo 😎 Would've been pretty cool, actually.
