Never change, Starsie.
Lucifer was one of the greatest comic runs DC has ever had. Tv show/movie happening was just a matter of time.

Apparently, this isn't the only online petition to get that show cancelled. Some group called "One Million Moms" or something similar has been trying even longer it seems:They seem to be upset (rightfully so) that Satan is portrayed as a harmless good guy who is just "bored with Hell" and so decides to become human and interact with them. The article also makes it clear that this show is, in fact, based on the comic book character. Which changes nothing, of course, as far as this being a bad influence for children and others with very impressionable minds.

One million moms who apparently don't know how to actually be parents. Ladies: watch your damn kids. If there is a show you don't want them to watch do not allow them to watch it. Why is this so hard?
True story: One Million Moms does not, in fact, have anywhere close to 1 million members. Their actual membership is not even in the hundreds of thousands. Nor are all of their members mothers. Roughly half are men.

Oh God it looks so awful.
This is so upsetting. I'm signing the petition.
I don't like the way Lucifer's eyes glow it makes me want to worship him and his dark ways.
This show also has everything young kids love in a tv show: explosions, robots, vastly epic super hero fights, bright shiny things, and sing-a-longs. Geez they might as well of written a children's book called "Cool Kids Love Lucifer".
Next week: Star wonders if devil's food cake is a secret plot to sway the hearts and minds of our young ones.

Did you notice how Lucifer never swears in the trailer?
Now count how many times Star has used God's name in vain & profanity in his own thread....
