The "D" List.

An Ocean's 11 type deal.

Choose a team of 5 to 7 characters from the D list of Comic book characters. No Top Tier or Big Name characters. The task. Break into Hydra HQ to steal some type of McGuffin.

The crew.
One Planner
One Shapeshifter/Master of Disguise
2 Muscle( Thing Class or lower)
1 Tech
1 or more Distraction Characters
1 magic type (either actual magic or magician aka mysterio)

Can be either male or female for all choices.

Can they be mix and matched from different universes?

Sure. Can be a mix of Heroes and Villains.

Heck make a list of both heroes and villains.

Thread is definitely interesting, but yep, it's not as easy as it seems.

Would Chameleon count as a d-lister, for example? Don't think so.

Tony Stark was considered D list until recent years, for example.

Chameleon was a part of Sinister Twelve and Sinister Six, appeared in TAS from 90s, he's not d-list.

Out of Spidey's foes, someone like Will o' the Wisp would qualify as a d-lister.
