The fight takes place 10 blocks from each other standard gear. Both Johns have 2 Smith and Wesson .45 semi handguns with 5 clips per gun, 1 Military type shot gun each, Two standard grenades each, 1 survival knifes and 1 K bar knife. No bat-mobile

Baleman and Bane die.

This one depends on location, 10 blocks away from each other implies a city setting, which gives the LoS pupils an advantage. Theatricality and Deception would be more than enough to counter the guns ninja style

Batmans combat style is tailor made for guys with guns and we know Bane can do this as well because he was also a member of the LoS.

Batman and Bane are not taking on two cannon fodder these two are well trained soldiers including smelling bad guys about to attack Matrix before the other guys did and Rambo getting the drop on Pirates gunning them down before any of them could lift their arms and Rambo getting the drop on the mercs as well. Matrix pushing a 2 tons truck up hill with flat tires.

Only these guys can actually fight and have good aim, IOW Bane and Baleman die.

So, If I give you a sniper rifle, you'd be able to hit a target at 2,700 yards?

we aren't talking about sniper rifles, we are talking about a semi auto at mid range, not too much skill needed to make that shot happen, yes Rambo and Matrix are elite but that more has to do with their hand to hand skills rather than their sharpshooting skills. Guns were made so that you didn't have to be so skilled, it levels the playing field for most any user, wether its elite hero or cannon fodder as you say. Batman dodging bullets from a guy shooting directly at him in a tunnel is still a great feat and one I'm sure he could replicate against ANYone holding a gun.

I see, so your argument is that it doesn't matter than Rambo and Matrix are shown to consistently hit their targets, they still have the same level of skill as people that have never once hit their targets.

Rambo hit a man running with a bow and arrow in the head while pretty badass aim specially from the distance as well.

I think relentless1's argument that a random Joe that has never used a gun before has the same level of shooting skill as Mr Smith from the movie Shoot em up, or Deadshot from the comics clearly shows which person in this thread holds the real bias.

McClane is a character what impresses me more because he is not a war vet or highly trained soldier he is just a tough SOB who doesn't stop until every bad guy is down.
