The part where Superman says that he has to match Doomsday's speed is ridiculous, for the simple fact that even Byrne Era Superman had nanosecond-level speed.

Like, imagine Quicksilver [who is sub-Byrne era Superman level speed] having to say that he has to push himself faster to match Hulk.

Byrne isn't a separate Superman despite your insistence he is. Always makes me laugh when I hear certain writers names mentioned this isn't the case with all characters under different writers.

Those characters are all very similar in travel & combat speed.

The real difference in the outcome of the fight depends on their ability to make a good use of their power-sets.

Sentry doesn't really have good combat speed feats. Byrne era Superman is much faster, and he could barely keep up with Doomdsay.

None of those characters have a better combat speed than the likes of Batman, Lady Shiva...

They try to compensate via bullrushing with their travel speed to stun the target and overpower it on the initial shock.
