1. Who is faster reflex wise. With board and without board.
2. Who wins in h2h? Both are powerless for the fight.

The first one isn't even a contest, Surfer would never be portrayed as faster than even Captain America, much less Quicksilver.

The 2nd one? Hm, what h2h feats does QS have, that don't involve him just being much faster?

The mace was used mainly by peasants because it's cheap to make in large quantities, and you don't need a lot of skill to use it. Hell, it's basically a refined club, lol.

I don't think think the Mace itself is relevant, it's more the fact that he was kicking the shit out of the Warbound which included Hulk.

Hulk was approaching him as a friend, and tbh, I DO think the mace is relevant.

If you have a class 100 (or whatever Surfer was at the time, but let's say pretty strong) swinging a mace around, H2H skill isn't really relevant.

He had an indestructible board as a shield, and a big ass mace. Let's not pretend he was going around doing Iron Fist style fighting......

surfer wasn't powerless, he was depowered to a certain extent. This is basically human Norrin in the 2nd fight (before he became the silver surfer)
