And one thing is fairly certain carv... At some point, in some story, most of these characters have gotten pounded because they were giving a speech, or tellin somebody to give up. Hulk might have even done it once or twice.

No, it is based off speculation.
We don't debate over details and outcomes that are irrefutably depicted, labled and accompanied by a writers step by step breakdown and signed judgement.
We debate over speculation of the gray areas that leave room for members to see if their opinions hold water with other members.
We are trying to find out whose speculation has more evidence to support it.
The evidence I have pointed out, in support of my speculative comments, are illustrated in several panels and clearly voiced by the characters.
If you want to debunk me, you r gonna have to find a way to negate the conversation and actions portrayed on panel.
Unless one of the mods or more senior board members say I am incorrect in my logic of the process. And that would b fine with me.
