The Mountain vs Bane (Nolanverse)

H2H, the Mountain does not know Bane's weakness. They fight unarmed and unarmored to the death. Standard gear for h2h combat only.

Fight in the middle of the Roman Colosseum

Bonus round. Batman with full gear vs Mountain with full plate and a greatsword.

As slow as Gregor looks sometimes, Bane is still slower.

Good thread. For once, not a stomp against the Mountain. Anyway, I don't see punches taking down the mountain. While Bane has more speed and skill, the gap isn't big enough to net him the majority. The mountain is strong enough to knock all the teeth out of a mans mouth with a punch and strong enough to apply enough pressure to crush a mans head. The second the Mountain gets his hands on him, he gets his head crushed.

Maybe Bane gan get his hands around the Mountains throat and crush it if he's quick enough? Might be easier said than done what with the Mountain being a huge ball of muscle. The dudes neck is practically encased in his traps.

I give it to Gregor 7/10

EDIT: Is Bane slower? It's been a while since I've seen the movie, but I remember him being a pretty nimble guy, climbing down chains, sending out flurries of punches Bats couldn't even keep up with, (etc...). I may have forgotten details though

No weapons, I'd give it to Bane, he's shown to be a skilled/capable H2H fighter

Bane may be a better h2h fighter but Mountain has crazy damage soak and crazy strength; he'd walk right through Banes attacks and pull his head off

Nah, Bane's strong enough to not get easily manhandled like Oberyn.

Baleman overpowered or in the least matched Banes Strength in the final fight. When Bane caught Balemans punch.

This was pre mask exploit

I'm actually thinking Bane has better strength feats as well.

At no point did Baleman match Bane strength. No way, no how.

His damage soak? Lol what??? He would do no such thing and walk through banes attacks and the worst thing he could do is let Bane land hits.

he was able to soak up all of Oberyns attacks, he played possum in order to get close enough to crush his head. Also the one punch he did get on Oberyn was way stronger than any of Banes save for him punching through the pillar in he and Batmans final fight.

jesus you need to relax, why does somebody always have to be marvel or DC "bias" when their opinion doesnt match yours? I am simply going off of what I've seen from both characters here. Yes the guy who said that bane was much slower than the Mountain was way off but its not inconceivable to say Mountain is stronger or more durable than Bane based on what we've seen from the onscreen feats.
