Ummm... I absolutely think the creation of the blackhole was intentional. I honestly don't see why anyone would have an issue with that. It was basically a cosmic tomb to make sure the bad guys couldn't get anything they wanted from Airwalker's body. But it's not like it being intentional takes anything away from the feat. The impressive part about the whole thing is simply that the blackhole was a side effect of Surfer's energy discharge. Even if it had been an accident, that wouldn't actually make the feat anymore impressive... it would actually denote a lack of intelligence/awareness on Surfer's part in regards to how much power he was releasing.
I'm honestly not even sure what point is being debated or why anyone would think any of it would be a big deal...
Marvelites misinterpret a lot of feats in order to fit their agenda.
I have seen it a lot, specially in the respect theads in here.
Not that DC side is not guilty of doing the same, but I have seen this more often on the Marvel side, specially with the dishonest posters who would lie and cheat in order to win a debate.
Yes you know who you guys are!

I think Surfer's best energy projection feat isn't creating the black hole (although if it did come from a "energy discharge" as stated, that would make it a Kugelblitz black hole, which is insane), it's definitely Surfer projecting the Illuminatrix's power across the entire universe in Slott's latest series. Nothing else Surfer has done even comes close to that, granted it did basically kill him to pull it off.

Or Hal creating an entire parallel universe.

Now what a Darkstar and GL did was unintentionally and I still think a better energy projection feat.

Because creating a black hole intentionally isnt such a big deal. Now what a Darkstar and GL did was unintentionally and I still think a better energy projection feat.

Of course it's a big deal. Creating a giant blackhole as a side effect that way is in the exploding/collapsing star level of energy output... that's huge. How you feel like ranking the feats along side of each other is up to you, but pretending that doing it isn't much of a feat is disingenuous to say the least.

Even Ronan outperformed his planet destroying blasts when he actually koed Ravenous. Which Surfer did npt with both blasts. Thats why space cheese is meaningless.
Surfer has never been that much impressive regarding blasting power compared to Green Lanterns. When he can blast through a top tier, let me know. He might be able to match a rookie GL.

Eh, not really. Nothing in Annihilation showed Surfer was that powerful. Heck, Tenebrous destroying a moon along with Surfer almost killed him.Even Ronan outperformed his planet destroying blasts when he actually koed Ravenous. Which Surfer did npt with both blasts. So despite your earlier attempts to run from you Surfer hate, you end up right where you started. Lowballing away!

Everybody get this? Okay.
And one thing that nobody has mentioned is a how casually Surfer pulls the feat off. We don't see an ounce of strain.
