Probably because no matter which character you place from which universe in front of him, his little clan will all immediately come in here and say he oneshots everybody. The problem with what you are saying is..it is not okay to talk about those characters you mentioned challenging Galactus. Silver Surfer is far below Galactus, he sure as hell shouldn't be able to do anything to him unless the guy is extremely starved. The same goes for Thor as well. Sentry has only been mentioned as stalemating him, but that is most likely bunk as well, I think Sentry could do about as well against Galactus as Thanos did. Not everyone has it out for a specific company or character.
You keep talking about Superman being 100 times stronger if he is sundipped, but the thing for me is Galactus has always seemed far more then 100 times more powerful then the likes of Superman. With the exception of PC Supes and Kal Kent.

Unfortunately there is some truth to it. Some fans are worse, like DBZ fans can be a lot worse. But I think at least here Superman gets put in a lot of fights and sometimes against people he shouldn't be put up against and you still usually have someone saying he wins.
I realize this is specifically an amped version of the character, but you have to keep in mind that the unamped version still gets built up to epic proportions. This is the first place I ever had to argue against the character so much.
