The ship he pushed had a field that neutralized the mass of the planets being moved. Superman pointed it out himself after stating he didn't have the strength to push planets.
He is hoping for it. There was no such machine.
Full scan.
"If not, let's not think about that now. "
Taking him hoping as absolute truth and cropping out the part where he thought about how it might not be there is flat out disingenuous.
There was nothing that suggests that the mass of Earth was neutralized.
Not to mention, the ship was almost totally drained of power at that point.
And there was just an energy net which grabbed earth and moon.
If there was a machine neutralizing the mass, it was never mentioned.

Superman's own words made it very clear. He doesn't have anywhere near the power to do so. He wouldn't lie to himself. Quit calling Superman a liar. Hyperion is far stronger than Superman to the point it isn't even close.
He accepted Surfer words when he Surfed the moon but he is neglecting to accept Superman words except when it benefits him. There's a word for people like that.

Rao, if you ever hurt my eyes and stomach with a pic like that again you will have to make a Quan respect thread. And you will have to make 5 posts every day for a week saying something nice about Quan, Thanos, Voldemort and Khan. sneer
😆
I could make it a gif with moving flaps and all 😄

And there's Superman hoping that there was something that neutralizes the mass of Earth when there was no such thing.

Superman told us he doesn't have the power to move planets. Are you accepting this statement or not?

The best part of that was that the effort of pushing the Earth against Superman and Hal completely depowered Starbreaker. That's a bonafide skyfather level being right there.

We seen how Superman stacks up against Starbreaker. His punches did nothing. It was the combination of the hero's attacking him, PLUS Superman and GL moving earth that weakened him.
Originally posted by abhilegendNo, Superman made it perfectly clear. Your excuses and double standards are nauseating. Superman doesn't have the power. He said it. Hyperion and then some. Superman has over 40 times the appearances and can't outdo Hyperion here.
