Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

It's still worse than CW at it's core, so it doesn't matter how much it makes tbh

Lol. I seriously don't care if SS makes more money than Avatar.
Still doesn't make it a good movie.
Just goes to show how popular Joker, Harley and Batman are to the general population.

Nobody is saying that bo=quality. But, cry some more.

Settle down Golg's

We will agree to disagree. Anyway, GOTG will have a solid run, too. So far, the movie of the year for me.

If Batman v Superman had Guardians Of The Galaxy VOL. 2's opening scene

Its really pointless at this point, inhuman. Not only did SS make bank at the BO, but it will earn more in home video than Civil War. Obviously there are a lot of fans. Deal with it. 😎

Civil War is no. 29 on this list. Suicide Squad is not even in the top 50 yet even though they were both released in the same year:

And the problem with Civil War type event movies is people want to catch up with other movies in the Marvel franchise before watching it.

But if you compare Suicide Squad to original and beloved superhero movies on that list like GOTG1 and Deadpool then it's not even a close call. SS even with its extended cut is not even close.

MOS has done well on that list mind you. But still not on par with GOTG1 or Deadpool.

SS is on pace to be right behind Deadpool in Blue Ray/DVD. And ahead of BVS and CW.

MOS has sold more than most MCU films, too.

.

Which list?

certainly doesn't show it on the one Darth Thor provided.

I'm talking about combined sales/revenue.

SLOP (81M$) will also beat FD (83M$) and fall short of passing Zootopia (95M$). Suicide Squad (68M$) will pass both BvS (72M$) and CA:CW (73M$) but will fall short of passing Deadpool (90M$). SW:TFA is about 2-3 weeks away from reaching 175M$. The last movie to reach this milestone is Frozen and the last live action movie is the first Avengers.

Adam Warlock to not be in Infinity War

^ Guess they're saving him for GOTG3?

Again you're always making comparisons with the MCU.

Every single DCEU film up to and including Justice League will have had 1 or more of the DC Trinity. But still you know Justice League won't even touch Avengers1. (And yes I will keep bringing that up as long as you keep making comparisons between the DCEU and the MCU's first 5 films).

Hmmm, that's pretty impressive. I didn't know MOS was in the top 20 of all time. Even more than IM 3 and AOU? Not bad.

^ Shows what a huge step down BvS was from MOS both critically and with audiences.

I don't mind them changing the infinity gauntlet storyline, Since the MCU is suppose to be its own universe separate from the comics.

I watched this without even watching the first movie, and I liked it a lot. I watched about half of GotG 1 last night and so far I'm less impressed by it than I was by Vol. 2.

GOTG series is good; I am a fan.

I have watched the first movie several times and it has not bored me once.

I agree with the Baby Groot intro. I wanted to see the battle with the giant space squid, so I was annoyed more than anything during that. A little too much pandering to Baby Groot fans.

I loved the Yondu and Rocket warping part. That ruled. No complaints there.

And I agree with the Pac Man thing. That was a little silly for my taste as well, especially considering he was only able to conjure a ball before and suddenly demonstrates the ability to create a classic arcade game character. Under different circumstances it would have been better I think.

The baby groot intro part was certainly annoying.

I found the Pac Man scene really funny though.
