If Batman v Superman had Guardians Of The Galaxy VOL. 2's opening scene

Its really pointless at this point, inhuman. Not only did SS make bank at the BO, but it will earn more in home video than Civil War. Obviously there are a lot of fans. Deal with it. 😎
Civil War is no. 29 on this list. Suicide Squad is not even in the top 50 yet even though they were both released in the same year:

And the problem with Civil War type event movies is people want to catch up with other movies in the Marvel franchise before watching it.
But if you compare Suicide Squad to original and beloved superhero movies on that list like GOTG1 and Deadpool then it's not even a close call. SS even with its extended cut is not even close.
MOS has done well on that list mind you. But still not on par with GOTG1 or Deadpool.

SS is on pace to be right behind Deadpool in Blue Ray/DVD. And ahead of BVS and CW.
MOS has sold more than most MCU films, too.
I'm talking about combined sales/revenue.
SLOP (81M$) will also beat FD (83M$) and fall short of passing Zootopia (95M$). Suicide Squad (68M$) will pass both BvS (72M$) and CA:CW (73M$) but will fall short of passing Deadpool (90M$). SW:TFA is about 2-3 weeks away from reaching 175M$. The last movie to reach this milestone is Frozen and the last live action movie is the first Avengers.
Adam Warlock to not be in Infinity War

^ Guess they're saving him for GOTG3?

Again you're always making comparisons with the MCU.
Every single DCEU film up to and including Justice League will have had 1 or more of the DC Trinity. But still you know Justice League won't even touch Avengers1. (And yes I will keep bringing that up as long as you keep making comparisons between the DCEU and the MCU's first 5 films).

I agree with the Baby Groot intro. I wanted to see the battle with the giant space squid, so I was annoyed more than anything during that. A little too much pandering to Baby Groot fans.I loved the Yondu and Rocket warping part. That ruled. No complaints there.
And I agree with the Pac Man thing. That was a little silly for my taste as well, especially considering he was only able to conjure a ball before and suddenly demonstrates the ability to create a classic arcade game character. Under different circumstances it would have been better I think.
I found the Pac Man scene really funny though.
