^ It's what tone suits each specific movie. GOTG was always a completely fun tone from Day1.GOTG was based around a really fun tongue in cheek tone, which was best for a film starring a raccoon and a walking tree.
Ant-Man suited a fun tone since it was about a superhero whose power is to shrink himself.
Dr. Strange had the odd joke. But was mostly more serious than the other 2. Any film can us the odd joke. It's something BvS was seriously lacking.
The Captain America films have all had a pretty serious tone (with the odd joke) which suited them.
Iron Man 3's tone was off. It went from a previously "fun" franchise to a completely tongue in cheek tone. That didn't work at all for me.
Yes, I understand that. My point is that it doesn't work very well sometimes. Both GOTG movies nails it, though.

Haven't cared for Baby Groot, lol. Humour-wise, Drax stole the show for me.Anyway, I loved both Guardians movies and I trust Gunn will succeed with entertaining me again and again.
Baby Groot, after the Blue Sky bit, was kind of just "there" I thought.
The humour struck out a few times, but that was bound to happen with how ridiculously they pushed it even when they shouldn't have.

Good? It was great. Phucking hater. 😛Logan is probably in my top 5 of all time.
It was great, yes. I've seen it twice in the theater and I absolutely loved it... even though it had little to do with the original OML story.
Wish they did more with Pierce, but oh well. There are also those annoying inconsistencies like that stupid adamantium bullet (explosive round?), but whatever. Good thing Deadpool film happened, R-rating naturally works perfectly with the Wolverine material.
Just seen it. I really liked it. Surprised by all the negativity tbh.
I mean sure wasn't any where near as funny as the first (naturally funny comedies usually lose their mojo in the sequel by trying too hard and this was no exception). And the soundtrack wasn't as good, (but loved the choice for the send off at the end).
But still it was fun, advenorous and had a lot more heart this time. Also the couple of times the jokes did work they worked really well.
7.5/10.
Songwriter Elliott Laurie has said that GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2 has correctly pinpointed the meaning of his song "Brandy (You're A Fine Girl)",

8 for me. Solid movie. I think id give anything with Kurt Russell an 8, so maybe I'm biased. 😛
Watch Deepwater Horizon. Really good.
Here's my review, if anyone cares. 🙂

Yeah, people are acting as if it was another IM2 or something.Looking forward to vol. 3, 4 and GotG parts in the Infinity War 1, 2, of course.
Still it was one the better Marvel movies yet people act like it was bad.
Some people are damn idiots....
I did miss Fox on the run from the trailers tho..
