Racism

Driving through black quarters in my truck, most all will start starin' at me from their porch. What's this cracka doin' on this side of town?

Where. What they do

Try and start fights with me, cut your off in traffic give you condescending looks. I live in San Antonio and most of the hispanic population still feels butthurt they won the battle of the Alamo but lost the war.

I remember I was working a temp job and I was discussing Tupac with a fellow worker and this black guy essentially comes up and is saying I shouldn't be listening to it because I "couldn't understand his struggles". Keep in mind the other person I was talking to about it was also black and had no issue with it and even defended me.

This was a job where you are in a freezer and you pack frozen goods into boxes, we were packing peaches. That day I was only doing a half day so I left right at lunch. The next day I get there and the berater is nowhere to be found. I found out at lunch the previous day he had drank a 5th of vodka and then pissed all over himself and some peaches and THEN tried to fight someone, to which the cops were called.

It made me super sorry I went home early. Keep in mind I was the only white person working there..and when I first began working everyone thought for some reason I'd been sent to spy on them. But still by the end I made friends with most of them.

It also lead to an awkward encounter..they were watching a video on their phone and asked me "Do you like Buffy?" and I said "yeah, the vampire slayer?" but it turned out Buffy was some black model they liked. You could literally hear a pin drop after I said "yeah the vampire slayer".

Interesting, there seems to be a lot of black racism going on based on these stories

Weird

San Antonio is a great city tho. You guys get a lot of problems from tangos, aztecas, texas Syndicate and the texas Mexican mafia

So I am not allowed to talk to you? And everyone else is allowed to talk off topic as seen above.

Interesting, from here one out, we wont speak again since you want to try and pull rank and act like a tough guy when clearly you were trying to make jokes about me.

Let me explain something. You decided to interject yourself into my response to a report from this thread. You then went on to argue with me, with some added trolling. I asked that it stop and you kept going. Now to be clear, this isn't a post you respond to unless you want to see how far things can go. Let's agree the matter is dropped and I won't have to act further.

The only time I experienced racism was in the US.

Once a professor at one of the colleges in Chicago said something along these lines: "Well, I thought Polish people are only manual laborers." Interestingly, that was a very outspoken liberal professor. Meh.

The other time, a woman in Florida said "When I saw your last name I knew you're Polish and I was anxious because all Polish are anti-semites and I would not want to rent a flat to a Jew hater. But now as I got to know you I am relieved."
This actually made me laugh and I told the story to some of my friends from the university. They were flabbergasted.

Oh yeah, forgot about all the stupidity I've had to endure in the US. One time at a wedding this guy tried to give me the third degree about Putin and that. Told him I grew up as far away from Russia as I did from New York but he didn't seem to understand how Europe isn't all former Soviet communist states... He also kept ridiculing my name trying to pronounce my name all funnily like I had chosen it myself to be fancy or something. Told him that my name is extremely common where I'm from and it's basically the Dutch version of John, but I guess it was weird to him that there's people born in different places in the world with different names and different cultures.

It's funny because we tend to think of college kids and college professors as some of the most open minded people out there. But the reality is they are some of the most narrow minded people you will ever meet.

It's true, every single one of them. Uneducated people are definitely way better.

I probably face more discrimination/racism then any person on this forum.

Not better, just less of smug little d-bags then the college brats who will whine at the drop of a hat.

Indeed 👆 They also tend to be very pretentious and self-righteous at the same time. Go figure.

College kids and Professors can be just as narrow minded as your uneducated folks in an attempt to have "progressive" views.

It also certainly wasn't uneducated people whining over halloween costumes. Those were students of a friggin ivy league school.

Bro, why are you repeating my point to me? It's cool that we agree on things and that but there's no need for you to be sucking my dick about it.

Is that what you do when you agree on something where you are from?

Sounds like a place I won't be visiting.

1/10 for the troll effort 🙄
