Superman destroyed a moon that was moving at a very high velocity. Surfer died destroying a stationery moon.
So yes, Superman is quite a bit more durable than Surfer. Surfer wishes he has Superman level durability feats.

No it isnt. Said it will still have the same mass as the moon. Superman still wins this though.

To destroy a moon of 81 billion tons, stationary, would require 1.23E29 Joules. This is using the gravitational binding energy equation, and the mass and radius of the moon as from here:

But wait! it was not stationary. So adding KE=1/2mv squared, to completely stop it, gives an additional 1.6E26 Joules.
Adding them together, gives 1.29E29 Joules.
To bust the Earth, you would need 2.2E32 Joules.
So planet busting is several magnitudes above that moon feat.
