How arebyoubgonna putbBlade and Buffy but then put kind of behind freaking Godzilla. He would be a lot more shit your panta scary than Buffy. Just thought it was funny.
It's not in any order. I just type what came to mind.
Anyway, both Angel and Buffy have sacred Planetary/Universal Beings multiple times. In the TV show and Comics.
Among DC heralds, Superman definitely. In comics or TV, things always shift when he shows up, whether it's that they surrender, or they just flat out get stomped after beating the crap out of the League.
Marvel, it was always the big three for me: Hulk, Thor and Surfer. Shit always calms up when they come in out of the blue.

Where DC's "Trinity"(particularly Superman) are concerned, I always thought this page was very telling:
-Morgaine: "The moment [Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman] appear, the others immediately defer to them."
-Enigma: No surprise there. It's in their essential nature to dominate ANY setting."
-Morgaine: "Ah, but that's not all... The other two defer to Superman. They have left the alien creature to him, while they attend to their fellows..."
-Enigma: "In a situation like this? Please. Of course they're going to let him take point. Experience tells them it's the most sensible thing to do."
