My opinion will be unpopular, but I say either let the franchise die or stop using Harrison Ford. Get a younger Indy, not someone who is 75 yrs old.

That's not the unpopular opinion at all. Reboot is the way to go.

While i've no problem with a crusty old Indy, a reboot wouldnt bother me.

I've been lobbying for Patton Oswalt in the role for ages.

I simply don't think it's possible to recapture the charm of the original 3 movies even if they do try to reboot it (which they no doubt will at some point). They really should just leave it alone and come up with some other similar action adventure film franchise. There's no need to call it Indiana Jones except for marketing purposes. So just get a big-name actor who can make up for not having the Indiana Jones name and wa-la... problem solved.

Get a big name actress.
Put her in a skimpy outfit.
Give it a title thats an homage to the Imdiana Jones source material...
instead of raiding a lost ark, the character could...raid TOMBS!!!

They are going to have to CGI so much of Harrison they may as well just make it a Pixar Film.
