^ Yeah but dude that's kind of the biggest market.
Me personally though, I'd be a lot happier with good Marvel/DC cartoons right now. There's no restriction on effects, and they can do a lot more in that medium, and you can have it like every week.
Really do miss EMH/JLU and good Spider-Man/X-Men cartoons.

I still enjoy them as well to a point, but they've kinda lost their luster/had a drop in quality now compared to previous seasons, even the best of them, though the same can be said for what Marvel Netflix is dishing out now, so I guess it's kind of another tossup like between the cartoons.
Surprisingly AOS has been pretty good this year (I'm only on like episode 10/11 of the current season).

For the first few films, DC/WB is still doing extremely well. Yeah, they might not be critically liked, but the general audience seems to not care what the critics think as a whole. Plus, the movies are already breaking records and doing well at the box office. WW is projected to do at least 85 M OW. That doesn't look like the audience hates DC just yet.

Okay. No ones denied they're making money.

Not surprising. Huge names like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even Joker and Harley, tend to attract big crowds, regardless of quality.
Much like Transformers does.

Big names, big numbers, but poor 2nd weekend drop offs and poor box office multipliers suggest poor WOM.
WB has rushed to catch up with Marvel (which we all know they've failed to do), and haven't lived up to the potential of such huge names due to poor casting choices and poor choices for directors and poor studio decisions.
Hence why the hype for JL isn't close to the hype of Avengers1, and is even less than the hype of Thor:Ragnarok and Spider-Man:Homecoming (although Spider-Man could ultimately suffer from reboot fatigue, but we shall see).
That's the difference building up goodwill over box office numbers makes in the long term.

JL is pretty hyped, dude. Agree to disagree on pretty much everything. We're just going in circles at this point.
