There's almost an entire page dedicated to "damage control" over a film that hasn't even come out yet. What's up with that?

With that say hope the WW movie will be good as I've already made up my mind about not seeing JL OP week...will possibly forego seeing it in theaters at all as I'm just not sold on the trailers and promotion for it.

it is because is Wonder Woman is prolly going to be garbage and not make the money it needs to.. of course don't telll that to zackshittingmypantiesboy.....

I don't think this one needs to make too much. Apparently it has a modest production budget, and the lack of marketing (in comparison to the previous DCEU films) means they're not going crazy on marketing costs either.

BvS needed something like $700mill to break even. Suicide Squad needed around $600mill. I'm guessing Wonder Woman's break even point won't be more than $400mill.

Of course the real victory would be it being well received by audiences, fans and critics.

Female lead action movies don't usually make a lot of bank. Ghostbusters should be a reminder of this. Tomb Raider did manage to do ok but there isn't anything else with a female lead that stands out. Underworld and Resident Evil are two examples.

Regardless of how much it makes or is received, hard to see WW being like another Ghostbusters, but suppose stranger things have happened.

That's a copout reason not to market this as much.

The more sensible reason would be that they're finally keeping an eye on their costs.
