dont be a dumbass shittingmypantiesboy... $83 million is chump change and a horrible for a film given the fact that this is her very first live action solo film... also what will your excuse be if this doesn;t indeed tank in its 2nd weekend against tom criuise??

dont dodge shitingmypantiesboy answer the damn question...

Hahahah don't make me laugh. Only an idiot would think that.

2 including the teaser from last year.

Maybe, but you know they messed up with the marketing of BvS.

Still "not found"

That's pretty much WB's shtick. Releasing 4 trailers or so. 4th trailer for WW is coming soon. Well, a mini trailer for the tickets.

Nothing unusual, really.

Marketing hasn't really been a factor for the overall quality/box office.

BTW, not sure why the link doesn't work for you guys. It works for me. People are talking about it here:

Also, the TV spots are being released. Very quick glimpse of Ares.

Did you honestly just say marketing doesn't effect box office?

it obviously does.

word of mouth is more important tho.

I don't think it has as big an effect as you're saying. What do you suggest WB do, that they haven't already done? Since you say WW is lacking marketing, how much of an affect do you see it having? If WW opens up at 100 M, how much should it have made?

OW is all down to marketing hype. WOM then dictates box offices be legs (although marketing helps that as well).

How do I know how much it would make with more marketing Lol

But it would definitely make more. Just look at Suicide Squad's numbers.

Not following. SS had a great marketing campaign. That's why it over achieved.

Marketing can make or break a film. Look at John Carter which wasn't a bad scifi and rather good in the 'Sword & Planet' genre, but shit marketing absolutely killed that film when it had the foundation to be very successful. Story was good, acting decent, SFX good, action good.

Good marketing brings in the people at first, then WoM takes over. Critic reviews add in as well.

Yes, I know that. I've said that before and so far, the marketing for WW has been solid.,its long range opening weekend is 83 million. That's solid for WW first outing.

However, its NOT so cut and dry. Many people were complaining about BVS marketing and congratulating both SS and Deadpool, but both movies opened less than BVS.

Btw, WW marketing has been smart, too. They played their recent trailer before Beauty and the Beast. A film which was 67% female driven.

hahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahaha

the thing is shittingmypantiesboy.... deadpool shits all over your precious dceu

hahahaahahahahahahahahahahahah

Lol you're funny Bruce.

IMO, this film isn't going to flop.

I'm hoping it's going to be at least good, as I have zero confidence in the Justice League flick at this point.

Exactly my point. So what are we disagreeing on?

Oh but BvS was marketed like crazy.

Plus let's not forget, it's Batman and Superman (plus a special bonus with Wonder Woman). Those are pretty big names which sell themselves.

I'm disagreeing on your statement that WB isn't focusing on WW. WW is STILL a few months out (Comes out in June), and still has time to do a marketing push. It's happening now, actually.

Dana Patrick will use WW on her car.

Also, hang out with Pine at the premier.

It's not about the amount of marketing that makes it good (TASM 2 for instance over marketed and it turned out bad), it's about the timing, which the chief of marketing of WB was trying to point out.

Yeah I don't have much confidence in JL either. But I reckon Wonder Woman man and Aquaman will be good.

Drew on WW. He heard negative vibes on BVS, BTW.

Throwing fuel on the fire: I hear they've worked non-stop on WONDER WOMAN and that the end result has people excited. #fingerscrossed

I haven't seen it. I couldn't begin to say. But word is encouraging. Seems way more positive at this point.
